North of England Developmental Biology Symposium

10am – 5.30pm 31st May 2018, University of Sheffield

This one day meeting will bring together developmental biology researchers from the University of Sheffield and the University of Manchester, and other institutions in the North of England. The aim is to stimulate interactions between research groups in the region, with the hope that useful collaborations and exchanges of technology and expertise will result.

The meeting will consist of 8 x 30 minute talks from group leaders, and 8 x 15 minute talks from early career researchers, as well as a session on public engagement. There will also be time in the programme for informal interactions.

It is hoped that this will become a regular event, occurring either once or twice a year and rotating between different cities.

This event is free to register. We are seeking external funding with which to provide lunch. If this is unsuccessful, we will ask people to bring their own packed lunch, or visit one of the local shops, cafes or pubs at their own expense.
